"The Pointlessness
of Cooking": I like that the artist is experimenting
with the layout. The art looks a bit rushed. The story is long in pages,
but emphasizes the pointlessness of the story (or cooking).
2. Jose
"I Lost
My Vampiric Walrus!": The story is a little silly,
but I still had a chuckle despite myself. The art is pretty good.
3. Tang
"I lost My Slave":
It's a clever idea to mold a story according to the topic of the month.
The story itself I found a little confusing: What happened since the last
installment? I get the impression I'm missing something in order to understand
what's going on.
4. Ed Bangalan
"The Box": I'll comment on this one
too, just for fun. Some perspective problems (see pg.1 last panel). Writing
is a little weak: what is the pilot talking about on the 2nd page?

"I Lost My Brain"
Some social preaching here. I wonder what kind of shows that guy is watching?
Art good. I like the surrealnes of the brain coming out of the guy's head
... kinda like steam, hey! Peter Gabriel video!

Lost My...": What's the premise of this one? Is
it that the rat/mouse lost its life? Or that the guy lost his noodles (figuretively
and literally)? I like the breaking noodles panel.
7. OFU (2)
"I Lost My
Life": Reminds me of a NFB animation. Art is dark
and adds to the mood of the story. I get the "I lost" part, but
the "free at last" kinda eludes me.
8. Yan Wen
"Lost
And Freedom": Very well rendered art. hehe. Talking
wig. ???. I initially thought it was a guy when the wig flew off, but I
read it a couple of times and realized it was a girl. I guess I'm slow.
9. Clay/Tang
"Looks
Like Freedom But it Feels Like Death": This was
a very close second in my books. It's dark humor was a very nice touch.
Since the character was a criminal, I had very little sympathy to his fate
and I could laugh my brains out (no reference to "I lost my brain")
with little guilt.
10. Carrie O'Kaye
"I Lost
My...": A little confusion, but has rereadability
in the sense you have to see it at least twice before understanding what's
going on. The art is very strong, you can see it in the background and the
characters.
11. Padder
"Freak
At Last": I really enjoyed this one. It was a little
predictable in the beginning, but the practicality of it was just too funny.
The art was good, and I loved the story.
12. Chun
"I Lost
My Balance" I liked the art in this one. The
story was okay, but I was wondering why Chun put in that segment where not
everyone liked Millie?

"Free At
Last": Some of the scans weren't very good.
The backgrounds are very detailed and the story is interesting. The lettering
is crowding the art a little.

"A
Wedding Or A Funeral?": Sick. Sick. Sick.
I think this was writen just for the shock value. I think cremation would've
been kinder. The art is good, but I don't care much for the subject matter.

"The Trick":
Nice setup. The part where everyone was looking for the soul was a very
nice touch. I found the master was irresponsible to teach people a trick
which was as dangerous as that, and then let them loose in the world to
perform magic shows for their pals.

Entry): Odd situation, I hope its not based on real life. I really
gave this one an 8. I thought it was good, but lost some marks for being
late.
