1." The new leader " by Bin Your artwork was very pretty and got the point across, even though the action was kind of slow. It's a great first chapter or prologue to a manga, though it doesn't stand alone too well, since we have no background on your society (except they have pretty costumes ^_-). But if you plan to continue, it's nice.

2. " Untitled" by Darkhorse Cool picture; nice use of rulers. ^_- (I've forgotten your past works, I'm afraid; if you had done more than one page this month, maybe I'd go back and refresh my memory ^_-). Your garland effect is really cute, too.

3. "A Sister's Present " by Evey Wong The art was cute, and your coloring and shading added a lot of depth, making this an impressive entry. I am a little surprised the sister was still making errors at numbers 499 and 500, though....^_- Very nicely done, considering there were no words, which is probably not bad, since if there ARE words, I don't pay attention to the art ^_-;;; (Oh, and on an entirely unrelated note, your server has unequivocally the most annoying banner ads I have yet to see; they would pop up in front of your page every minute or so...)

4. "Courtly Love " chapter X by Julie Bihn I got a miniscule graphics tablet for Christmas, and I used it and Painter Classic (I haven't paid for a graphics program yet; they all came with the computer or are shareware I haven't paid for yet ^^;) to color and do the backgrounds...well, OK, the characters were still colored in Graphic Converter, as is my norm...^_^;;; I was impressed (?) that the watercolor painting type stuff looked exactly like when I painted the colors on with actual inks on actual paper...I know my backgrounds are still junk though ^^;;;; I'd say I'll work hard and do better this month, but I'm so behind on stuff and my classes are SO hard, I'm honestly not sure I'll be able to even color this month's.....^^;;;; What that had to do with this month's entry...uh...dunno. ^^;;; Dunno what was up with Miriam this month, though...

5. "Dolly III" by Lab-Girl ....man, I didn't understand ANYTHING that was going on in your earlier comics...^^;;; Only after reading your plain text summaries was I able to appreciate the twisted universe you set up for your stories; before, I couldn't really tell your characters apart (I'm the type who needs different hair colors for everyone to get it, preferably in bright colors ^^;), and I honestly didn't even picture the stories going across from one month to the next (I didn't see them as RELATED). Maybe because they were so short, I had trouble piecing them together...? I don't know; if you ever bothered to read my comments, you're probably laughing at how dense I am...^^;;;; I think maybe if you would've introduced your characters a bit more explicitly (and don't forget sweet, sweet exposition ^_-...writers are actually supposed to avoid that ^^;), I would've understood better. But after reading your summary and rereading the whole thing, I enjoy the subtleties and mysteries you put in your work. You had a fascinating little world in your head; I just didn't get it until it was too late.... I hope you do another series (you do leave some mystery (to me anyway ^^;) in your final chapter, but I think it's better left open-ended), but if you want *me* to understand it before the very end, could you maybe make summaries for the previous chapter every month? ^_^;;; But then, other people aren't as dense as me ^_^;;;

6 "Genesis Cooking:SDC " by Rainybutton Gen is so disgustingly cute this time around; I think your chibi art style improved dramatically (it was fine before, but now they're much cuter!)... I liked this one much more than your last one; it was definitely a manga, just a manga where people are cooking...well, okay, maybe it was a (violent) cooking show on paper, but not just a recipe. ^_^ The food sounds better, too, and I felt like your characters had some kind of personality (but it's hard to give characters personalities when they're just cooking by themselves....okay, 'genki' is a personality, kind of...but....^_-). Anyway, very nicely done, though I'd kind of prefer to see your shoujo series instead of just these bonus stories (you *were* making a series, weren't you?)...

7. "Seven Ages " by Selins Your art was beautiful; I guess you got the thicker-line inking stuff down, because your art looks great. Very shoujo--it's not really the kind of thing I like (it was almost an illustrated poem; you pretty much knew how it would end from the start), but very well done.
