Frozen Fingers I love the style used here, I've always had a tendancy to clutter with excessive background but you've got the knack of creating space and place Beautiful!
<2> By the Lily Pond The manga is very good, close to page scans I've seen on the net and I like the touch of humour near the beginning. I'm not familiar enough with the characters to fully appreciate it but it's like they've all been drinking red cordial @_@; Is it usually like that?
Alone in the Snow I really enjoyed the use of cinamtographic technique in this one, using angles, different spaced shots and the use of light to create the mood of the piece ^_^
Chance Encounter Well I can hardly comment on my own -_^ I'd be thoroughly biased
Secret of a Lily Oooh Semi-chibified. The fine lines are neat ^_^ Mine never look so good so I tend to go heavy handed.I like the Natsuka* vision bits too ^_^ (*from Hanakimi) And very shojou ^_^
Glorious I really enjoyed this one, it leaves you wondering what's going to happen next (I'm personally hoping she gives him a good solid thumping (no sissy slapping >:) ) And is one of the few coloured manga I've thus seen. Masterfully done Twelve thumbs (and a foot) up!
Genesis Cooking:Sweet Bean Cakes! Scribbles down the recipe. Reminds me of some of my mums old sewing books with the little manga style people pointing out instructions or showing off the outfits ^_^
Mimiko and the frog prince >Cheers!< I really like this one. Of course foxes are feral and so baaad here where I live so I should side with the frog but her action is just so *right* for a carnivoure, very much like Feli from my Avi story ^_^ Go Tang!
Lily Pond Neat: In three pages and you have an idea of the girl's background though very little is said on the topic ^_^ Subtle! And though I can sense a story behind it there doesn't =need= to be more. Its a single, bittersweet moment. One almost feels that they are intruding.
Lilia I can only but hold my breath and wait for more... Hopefully the story will unfold like a water poppy at dawn. The art is lovely, and the colours soft, almost like CLAMP in style. You will do more on it won't you ?! Please!
Let's Take a Picture! >Kusu kusu kusu!< This is great, I love the story you chose. The depth and perspective of your work really stands out and you draw good lily pads on water. My own perspective drawing would give Escher a headache on a good day. Teach me Obi-wan -_^
Promise by the lilypond I think the thing that catches me most about this one is not so much the art, which is well executed, so much as the story and the possibilities of the story ^_^ Reincarnations ahoy! I look forward to what comes next truely I do!
Courtly Love Hrmm. I like the way the characters are set out, none are perfect, each have their own little quirks that encourages you to like or dislike particular aspects of each. It makes them realistically human ^_^
The Knight of Staves Gambit: I like the use of the leaves, it gives your pictures a nice, Japanese garden look.
Doubt: Lovely lovely art and a very shojou plot, I know should
resist but I
can't, and after all it's almost X-mas. ^_^
At the Pond: I really enjoyed this one, the twist on the end making
it
something different from the normal and making it bittersweet.
It reminds
one of all the people who did leave to various wars, and the loved
ones the
left behind, not knowing if they would ever meet again..
1st : At the pond
2nd : Doubt
