wow, with so many good quality art and stories this month, i feel like i should comment a little bit.
1. Kekkou~chan "Pinky Promise" he he he, cool! i tend to like non-happy stories nowadays. good layout and art and the story is solid with minimal explanation(i dislike too much information jargons personally). i just wish the "omake" at the end were a little less sketchy.
2. wxp "Kang and Telly" again, i have to state i'm impressed by wxp's dedicaton to the story and characters while trying to fit them in the topic. nice work!
3. Ed Bangalan "To Get To The Other Side" really nice drawings and intriguing story. it felt a little bit preachy at the end. okay, i have to admit i'm not exactly sure what happens in the end or how she manages to get out of the way. i think it's my bad karma hitting me back for making up weird stories :P
4. Elise Frappier "And Then There was Silence" the art is wonderful like always. i really like your play with black and white space and of course, LOVE the fonts!
5. Eleanor Yui "Off Course!" this one is pretty funny! the sub looks very cool and retro! hm, it's kinda scary it actually happened in real life....
6. D_Art "untitled" I've always like D_Art's style but this one is really amazing! i love the very expressive brushstrokes, very fluid! the story is pretty funny although not quite up to par to the previous ones. still, i love your lines and style! did i mention i like your style?
7. Linnaly "untitled" I can't make out a lot from this entry. the story sounds pretty nice but i had a hard time trying to read the text. i understand that she had to rush this one, but i wish that she'd type in the words in photoshop or clean up the contrast a bit.
8. Yume "The Sometimes Pinky Swear" ok, i guess i'm kinda sick for thinking girls who're fond of violence and weird stuff are cool. i've only seen some of yume's stuff but i think she needs a little vacation ^_^;;; (from school)
9. Bill Blume "And Then There was Silence" whoa!!! great art!! very touching too. like i said before, i really like stories with so much to tell but with minimal explanation. nice work!!
10. AlexeCinz "And Then There was Silence" really nice artwork! my only grudge is... um... it's gundam wing.
11. Julie Bihn "Lesson of the kamiya Dojo" um, i dunno, the idea of kenshin procreating is somewhat disturbing to me.... just kidding! i really like this one! a very good tribute to the ending of kenshin. *sigh* how can we live without kenshin??!
12. Heather "Promise" this is very sweet, but i do wish that i'd see more of what happens next. good job, heather :)
13. Ryeka "The Promise" the art is good but i think the characters rally shine in this story. they have personality and the relationships among characters are pretty solid. good job!
14. Tang "Friends" really good punchline at the end! i didn't expect that! he he he, very funny stuff, Tang!
15. waiji "In Our Silence" aaaah, violence... feel better now.... huh? what? you don't know who the character is? um, uh, okay, he's... a guy.... who wears a black coat... he he, kidding, okay, i'll say a bit about him next time! promise!
16. Meow Kitty "Then There was Silence" holy.... this is very disturbing! talking hands (or fingers) are not pretty! cutting them off is even worse. uh, maybe i should do a happy happy funny funny story to lighten up everyone's mood??
17. OFU "Silent Invasion" to my defense, i did only the crappy portion in this jam so i hardly deserve any credit! hats off to heather, halliday and david n for their fine work!
