Wizard - Choiii!!! Um... You say this is your first attempt at comic book art? Well done! It looks a hellavalot better than what my first attempt looked like! I think your style could be greatly improved by a couple of life art classes. Consider it. Not that your Subby wasn't good, but maybe a better understanding of human anatomy might make those action poses less of a _itch. ^_^
A New Beginning - Dee Wow... What nice artwork! It's amazing some of the line art I see come from online manga contests like these. Are you a very experienced artist? I mean, I don't recognize your name from anything, so it makes me think you practice a lot offline. Must be a lot, because you're stuff looks great!
Broken Crystal - Kevin and Cathy I'm a little confused, if Kevin and Cathy wrote this, then who's Jacky Gilbertson? Am I missing something? Sorry, just something that confused me... As for the actual manga, it's a little scary. I remember being in high school, and feeling like doing close to the same thing (for other reasons, of course). Anyways, because of that it scared me a bit. I hope the both of you continue to work on comic books, because this is an excellent start for people your age. (I'm assuming you're 13 like Jacky, but you watch, just because I've assumed that, the both of you are going to be like, 26 or something...)

The Loser's Club - Tarra Yeah, this is mine. And yes, I'm commenting on my own work. I personally feel that it could of been done 10x better if I had just figured out a solid plan for it earlier. I ran out of photos half way because I had only found photos for my first idea, which I drew, but then trashed. This is the re-drawn version of that idea, but much shorter, and with a lot less horror (my first idea was a little too shounen, story-wise anyways, so I had to modify). So there you are, I'm about 1/2 happy with it.
Ito (Last Chapter) - Tang ^_^ It doesn't suck, Tang. I thought it was adorable! It's a nice sweet end to an impro, but also leaves it open for more Ito later on. Maybe next time around you won't have to jump in on the story to fix plot problems ^_^;;
Courtly Love (Chapter 8a) - Julie Bihn ....... The colour is a nice change of pace. I'm not sure what to think of this. Would the coloured wing thing make more sense if I didn't avoid Pokemon like the plague? I dunno... Very entertaining though!
A pleasant surprise - Kasumiko Beautiful! It's too bad this entry was late, but on the other hand, that extra time for this short manga looks like it was well spent. I look forward to seeing more in December.
