This is a scene from one of my favorite manga: Doctor for
Animals.
Miss Seiko is a Japanese veterinary college student. For some reason she
had to
make an overseas phone call to America. The problem was, she does not speak
English very well. Mr. Chan came to her aid and made the phone call.
When Seiko thought she was saved, Mr. Chan handing the receiver to her.
She held it with both hands. The picture above tells us how she must be
felt
- hopeless and speechless. It is hilarious. Sometimes a simple image without
any actions could be very funny too.
